Teaching
Everyone has the ability to learn Reiki to help themselves and others. I find Reiki to be a solid foundation for any energy work, as well as a personal life-changing practice.
I have been teaching since 2014 and look forward to the genuine connections and discussions between myself and my students. I only teach in person because there is a special resonance when we gather together.
Please contact me directly for more information and to see if we're a good fit for each other, as I organize classes when there is interest. My classes are generally 2-4 people.

I am certified to teach White Light Reiki and Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki (the original Reiki if you will). When I teach Level I and Level II, I use my White Light Reiki manuals because they are easier to follow, but students also receive the Usui Reiki manuals and I attune them to the Usui Reiki lineage.

Reiki Level I
Reiki Level I class takes one day (about 5-6 hours). I do not like to rush the process. I have found that many students have ah-ha moments in class and having time to talk about it is important. I also believe that the attunement and energy from the class needs time to settle and integrate.
In Reiki Level I class, we learn about Reiki, its history, the chakras as they relate to physical, emotional and spiritual issues, and energy work. There is a meditation and the Reiki Level 1 attunement which “turns on” the Reiki energy. After that, we have hands-on practice with classmates and I am there guiding everyone along the way. At the end of the day, the student is certified in Reiki Level I and able to work on his/herself, family and close friends, and pets. I highly, highly recommend that you experience a full private Reiki session before coming in to learn Reiki, whether with me or another practitioner.
Reiki Level II
In Reiki Level II class, we meet for about 4 hours on the first day. We review and practice the Reiki symbols, one of the most beautiful tools in any Reiki practice. This attunement will allow you to send Reiki via distance healing. It also amplifies your Reiki power in the mental/emotional space. After Reiki Level II, you are permitted to work on others, whether as a personal or professional practice.
After our first Reiki Level II class, I will send you on your way with homework. You will be asked to set up an appointment with other students between classes so that you can practice Reiki from a distance. You will report back with what you felt and what they felt as well. Our second class meeting will last approximately 2+ hours with discussion and practice. You must be certified in Reiki Level I (whether with me or another teacher) in order to learn Reiki Level II.
